| Beneath the Rim

“There is nothing else quite like it...a deeply entrenched water corridor...through a desert wilderness of overwhelming beauty [where] contact with nature is direct and powerful” wrote David Lavender in ‘River Runners of the Grand Canyon’.
I concur wholeheartedly with David's words. I've been fortunate to travel twice by raft and kayak down the 280 mile stretch of Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in Arizona and this series of images reflects my experiences on those memorable journeys.
