call of the wild:

The first four photos displayed in this gallery won the 'Call of the Wild' portfolio category in the internationally recognised Travel Photographer Of The Year awards in 2008.

The press release at the time described them as a stunning series of black and white images of mountains and icebergs with judges comments, "Beautifully crafted, Andrew's images were shot both on film and digitally. Strong composition and excellent use of light creates drama and a sense of the sheer insignificance of man in these environments."

I'm now building this gallery by adding other images along this theme with the aim of producing a body of work good enough for a stand alone exhibition.
